Reference: Demolition Note #4/AB-201D, Please advise since all HVAC equipment are being safed off, to be demoed and replaced with new, will there be a need for fire protection or fire watch during demolition and construction at working hours and after working hours.

Note #4 on the demo sheets covers maintaining existing fire rated protections, not obstructing exits, fire lanes, hydrants, etc.

Reference: Section 00 21 13 Instructions To Bidders #2, please advise if subcontractors whose total scope including labor, material and equipment exceed their qualified limits, will be allowed to be listed for this project bid.

Bids will be deemed nonresponsive.

The presented project schedule shows no activity from 8/31/2021 (End of Phase 2) through 5/16/2022 (Beginning of Phase 3). Please advise if any activity will be scheduled during this time, and if any of contractor’s supervision personnel need to be on site during this period if there is no activity.

Reference AC-201D, please advise cabinetry at work room (54B) are being demoed as indicated as dashed line, but reconstruction drawing shows them to remain.

Casework at Workroom 54B is to remain.

For the restroom work shown on the architectural drawings there is no plumbing fixture schedule or call out. Are we supposed to reuse the existing fixtures? If so are we expected to warranty these fixtures with an unknown age? Do these existing fixtures meet Title 20 and Title 24 requirements?

PROVIDE NEW FIXTURES AS PER SPECIFICATION SECTION 22 42 00 PLUMBING FIXTURES.

Plan sheet AAQ-501 Restroom 102 highlights the ADA water closet but does not show existing dimensions. Does this water closet need to be moved?

EXISTING WATER CLOSET IS 18-1/2 INCHES FROM THE WALL TO CENTERLINE. WATER CLOSET WILL NEED TO BE MOVED.

Plan sheet AAQ-501 and AAQ-502 says to remove plumbing fixtures for the ADA showers but does not say to reinstall. Are we supposed to reinstall the existing shower? Is this shower surface mounted or in wall?

Plan sheet AJ-501 Unisex toilet highlights the ADA water closet but does not show existing dimensions. Does this water closet need to be moved?

EXISTING WATER CLOSET IS 19 INCHES FROM THE WALL TO CENTERLINE. WATER CLOSET WILL NEED TO BE MOVED.

Plan sheet AL-502 shows new ADA shower stalls but does not callout or show any work to the shower fixture. Does the shower fixture need to be reworked or replaced?

Plan sheet AQ-501 Boys Toilet Q11 highlights one urinal but does not provide existing dimensions. Does this urinal need to be relocated?

EXISTING URINAL IS ±2′-8″ CENTERLINE TO CENTERLINE FROM ADJACENT URINAL. URINAL WILL NEED TO BE MOVED.
